How to bridge assets from Binance smart chain to the Beam network

In case you found yourself holding on to the $BEAM token on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and wondering how you could bridge them over to the Beam network, this article is for you.

Currently, there is no support for the bridging of assets from BSC to the Beam network. However, for holders of the $BEAM token on the BSC network, there is a workaround you could explore if you have accessibility to a centralized exchange that supports the deposit/withdrawal of the $BEAM token over the BSC network.

The following steps should simplify the bridging of $BEAM (BSC) to $BEAM (Beam) for you:

Step 1: Transfer your $BEAM (BSC) token to a centralized exchange that supports the deposit of $BEAM token over the BSC network.

Step 2: Withdraw your $BEAM token over the Ethereum network by choosing the Ethereum network upon completing your withdrawal request to an EVM self-custody wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby, or Ledger. Note that all EVM-compatible wallet addresses can support tokens across multiple chains as long as the token has been deployed on that particular chain.

Step 3: Once the withdrawal is successful, follow the guide on how to bridge assets from Ethereum to the Beam network.
